Common questions

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email on your account. We’ll send you a reset link. New passwords must be at least 10 characters.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent: your profile is scrubbed from the database, your sessions are revoked, and your email is freed for future sign-ups. Match history and stats are preserved as “Deleted User” so other players’ records stay intact.

How do I block or report another player?

Open the player’s profile, tap the menu, and choose Block or Report. Blocking hides the user from your feed and prevents direct messages. Reports are reviewed by the Scorebox team.

I was charged for an event

Entry fees for paid events are handled through Stripe. Refund rules follow the event’s cancellation policy and the Terms of Service. If you have a specific dispute, email support@scoreboxapp.com with your account email and the event name and we’ll look into it.

What sports does Scorebox support?

Scorebox launches with 21 rec sports — cornhole, pickleball, darts, pool, ping-pong, and more. If you’d like to see a sport added, let us know.

How old do I have to be to use Scorebox?

You must be at least 13 to use Scorebox, and at least 18 to pay for paid events. Commissioners running paid events must be 18 or older. See the Terms of Service for details.
